Future of Internet Marketing Competition Increase
As I stated in my last post there will be an increase in competition in the future due to new technology and an increase in new marketers. I fear that there will be a much higher failure rate in the future as well. I know that the failure rate of new internet marketers in already high and the fact that it will be even higher is not a good thing.
Considering there will be an increase in competition, this will mean that if you want to succeed you will have to set yourself apart from everyone else.
Let’s first address why there will be more internet marketers as time goes on. There are several reasons for this. The number of internet users is increasing daily worldwide, if you consider this as a whole astonishing numbers are gaining access to the internet each day. With the increase in technology and affordability, it allows more people to have access to the potential of an internet business.
Does it mean more people to buy what you’re selling? Sure, but if you’re not accessing and converting the traffic how will you sell more? The truth is you have to provide value and that will attract traffic itself after your initial efforts. More traffic doesn’t hurt and you will need lots of traffic to be successful.
Another reason that there will be more competition is that more people are turning to internet marketing. As more learn about it from someone they know. Yes, the majority of people will think it’s a scam, too bad for them great for us (if we are not selling internet marketing products to them).
These factors will result in increased competition, not to mention, all the advances in automation tools and new strategies. It will be nearly impossible to rank highly on search engines unless you have access to great resources and use them effectively.
A good approach to this is to create a blog and add great value, you will be able to build up readership and links to your site if you provide great value to your niche. This will give your further access to your customers.
I also like the idea of becoming the authority; this will allow you to have tons of traffic and great rankings. My approach to becoming an authority is consistently providing value and getting traffic from authority sites.
I actually get free authority links every day for my niche sites and this has allowed me to move toward becoming an authority. You can do the same, I’ll be releasing products that tell you exactly how to do this once you see how powerful it can truly be you will devote most of your time building traffic in this way.
There are also many paid traffic options, I’m not talking about high costing adwords ads, there are many more options including low cost adwords among other options you probably were told are ineffective or don’t even know they exist.

5 Naughty Tips To Boost Your Digg Profile – Part I
Its about that time we talk a little about using Social Media to our benefit, not with help from somebody else but with our own efforts. In this series I will as usual talk about the 3 major social media contenders : Digg, StumbleUpon and Reddit. I would love to talk about Mixx as well but as of this point Mixx just doesn’t convert the time and effort into meaningful results. However, follow some of the tips that you will find here and integrate it with Mixx and I am sure it will work.
The approach to building a social media profile is pretty much the same, its just a different platform and different way of handling what comes your way. I have been using the 3 top social media services for a while and am labeled as a “power user” on all of them.
Although I would like to share with you links to my profiles it certainly wouldn’t benefit me so we will keep it silent and in the dark for a while. Before we get started please keep in mind that the things suggested in these articles have worked for me and others but I can’t guarantee it will work for you. However, if you put in due time and effort I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t. But before we get started I want to quick share an image as to justify why I seem to talk about these three sites the most [...]

5 Traffic Building Principles Based On Traffic Secrets 2
This article is based on the traffic secrets 2 course by John Reece. The first of the traffic building strategies John advocates is competitive research. He says that the web is the greatest research tool ever invented. With a few easy searches you can find out what your competitors are selling, how they’re marketing their products and services, the price they are charging, where they are advertising, what their main keywords are, who ranks in the first page for these keywords etc
The amazing amount of research you can do feeds into the next on of John’s traffic building strategies called piggy backing. This is basically using the detailed competitive research to find the top products and services, how they are being advertised and where they are getting their traffic from. The concept being you can easily copy what they’re doing and save yourself the time and effort of experimenting with traffic building strategies that aren’t going to work.
The next one of John’s traffic building principles is the good old 80/20 rule. This is no great insight as each entrepreneur advocates this rule, however, there is literally thousands of methods to generate traffic and its so easy to get suckered into something that will squander your time and energy. traffic secrets 2 is great because it shows you how to research and piggy back the 80/20 traffic building strategies that apply to your market.
The next of John’s traffic building strategies is to implement some of these 80/20 traffic building strategies and analyze the results. John’s experience is that its far easier to improve on one of the traffic building strategies that is working than to try something new and unproven.
The final traffic building principle is all about building friendships. In the last few years, the web has developed into a much more social place and John feels that building friendships and giving your visitors a variety of ways of communicating and interacting with you will become more and more significant.
