How Are You Building Your Websites?
Recently I received an email asking me how long it takes to build a good website? He told me he had been working on a site for 4 months. So I replied to this message asking if the site has made any money yet? The response was that he was improving the site so he hasn’t worked on getting traffic to it yet!
Now, I see a major problem here and I think it is a common problem. Your goal as an online business owner should be to make money as soon as possible. This means don’t spend several months making everything perfect. This means not having 50 partial projects that aren’t making you squat. Sure I have several projects that I’m working on so I’m guilty as well.
It’s human nature to get side tracked entrepreneurial ADD is a very common problem. We have so many new ideas that we think are so good that we focus on that idea for a little while them get another idea and focus on that after a while we have 50 ideas and no businesses.
So here was my solution, about 3 weeks ago I created a folder on my computer called “ideas box” I got this idea from Justin Brooke, I think he has an actual box. So every time I have an idea I write it out – summarize it and save it in my ideas box folder. Now I can go back to it when the time is right, some ideas I will never use, but some will be very helpful when the time comes.
The important thing is, you will not quite your current project and as a result you can continue to work on that project until you do what it takes to finish it and hopefully make money with it.
On to the next point, if it takes you 2 months to build a website and you have no visitors coming to it, you are taking too long. The reason I give away wordpress themes is so that you can quickly create websites and start driving traffic to that website.
Then you test and tweak the site after you have visitors coming to it. You can get visitors the first day you promote a new site and even make some sales that same day or you can wait 4 months and lose out on all those sales you could have been making.
In fact on the lazy marketer blog, Chris Rempel said the sites that he spent a lot of time setting everything up to perfection would in many cases not perform as well as the sites he spent very little time creating. I’m not sure exactly why, but I’m sure he didn’t like that he wasted all that time setting everything up to be perfect only to throw up another site and have it out perform the site he spent time perfecting.
An imperfect site that has visitors can make you money, a perfect website that you spent 4 months working on, that doesn’t have any visitors isn’t going to make you a dime. Nobody knows your site exist!
Now is the time to take action get your site up and get traffic to it as soon as possible, if it’s making you money then consider spending more time making it better otherwise move onto the next website and get that one going. Business System Development – Part 1 Keyword Stratagy
Here’s the deal getting traffic can be the most time consuming and frustrating part of your business. We all know quality traffic produces sales. The problem most people have is they don’t have enough time to spend on getting traffic and can’t produce enough results to know if their method works or not.
There is a lot to developing consistently good sized volume of traffic. I rarely ever go for lots of traffic as my main goal. Instead I go for quality traffic that is likely to buy what I’m selling. This involves using a handful of specific keywords ‘money keywords’ I call them.
After building up rankings for your money keywords you can go after high traffic producing keywords. This in a nutshell is the keyword targeting process. You will need to select a good product to sell and find out what keywords are going to give you easy traffic; this will be the keyword you will target first for getting google rankings.
Another important thing to find out is if the product is selling – common sense, but many still don’t do it. There are simple ways to do this. I usually search for good money making keywords before I even think about promoting a product. Then I consider specific things such as the feedback of the product (quality), how easy it is to make sales…
FYI: my keyword selection system is fast and free, I actually don’t like looking for and selecting keywords.
Although, I haven’t been promoting this site (jbode.info) much, I have been using it on several of my niche sites and it has worked great.
With my system I can get first page rankings on google within a few hours for these keywords in most cases, some take more work than others. For a recent promotion I had the top 6 placements on google for a specific keyword as well as position 8 and 10. All of these links brought traffic to my desired page for that money keyword. I also got 2 first page rankings for my main keyword which was included in the specific keyword I was targeting.

Having a Plan for Internet Business Essential?
I’ll keep this short, I’ve noticed that the people who have a hard time making money online don’t have a plan or system. This is essential, every successful internet business owner has some sort of plan, some don’t have a very good one and some people have great systems and plans.
When you go around aimlessly promoting something in hopes of getting lucky and making a sale, success will be minimal. Even if you don’t want to settle on selling specific things, I’m guilty of trying to sell various things, it’s a good thing, you need to have a system in place for promoting what you are selling.
You will never get any traffic if you don’t have a system of getting it. I had a hard time getting traffic in the past. Once I developed a good system, I realized that I could make a lot more money. Your system should be something that works for you, something that you don’t mind doing or that you know how to get other people to do (outsource).

Continuity – Increased Popularity in Internet Marketing
With the promotion of some amazing videos by Ryan Deiss and the successful launch of his continuity product. It seems everyone is rushing to quickly create a lower priced continuity promoting product. First of all many people don’t know what continuity is so to put it simply it is a membership of some kind.
The beauty of the continuity model of business is that you can get paid for several months from the each member. This provides residual income which should be a major goal for anyone that is serious about building an online business.
The increased popularity of the continuity style of business is a great thing for inspiring internet business entrepreneurs. The fact is there are so many different options of continuity products now available from many different internet marketers.
Everyone has their own opinion of how to create a successful continuity business. As a result some people have chosen to voice an opinion about how they don’t like continuity programs as well as in the warrior forum. Many people believe that continuity programs take tons of work. My take on this issue is that if you have knowledge in the subject it will take less time to set up a successful continuity program. Many people fail to see that they can find experts to help. This is necessary in my opinion. If you have an expert to help you, there will be less work for you to do on your own and more importantly, you will be able to provide higher quality to your members.
The reason quality is important and necessary is that your members will stay members longer allowing you to make lots more money. It’s much easier to increase the information quality than to find enough new additional members to cover the same amount of increased profits.

I also have some continuity tricks up my sleeve and use those to further increase profits with my continuity programs. It all comes down to the knowledge you have and the work you or someone else puts in.
I like to use a combination of an actual membership site and an email list for various reasons I’d rather not expose at this time. But this combination is ideal when set up correctly from my experience. Other people have their own concepts of setting up their continuity program.
Always look for the best way to communicate with members, so that you can keep their interest in your membership program. There are several ways to do this. Just be creative and think as a member of your continuity program. What would I want if I was a member of this program?
When you think as the customer you will increase your success rate immediately. One example of keeping interest in your continuity program is creating a monthly contest or something similar. Think logical, you don’t want to offer a high priced item each month if you can’t afford too.
Offering a special service of your expertise may be a wiser choice, there are many other ways to keep your members interested. I like to communicate with members through email. If you offer good information on a regular basis, you customers will be happy with your continuity.
