Real Internet Marketers Are NOT Average People
I got an email a few days ago about one of my products…
The email asked me “what the average person makes with this product?”
I was afraid to respond, but felt I should share this with everyone!
Why?
Because the ‘average’ person makes NOTHING
The truth is the average person (in the U.S.) also only makes about $30,000 a year – at a job they hate
Why?
Because they don’t try or are afraid to ‘better themselves’ you know to invest in yourself and your future
Why?
Because it requires extra work, extra effort & it requires you to do things you are afraid to do
You’re reading this today because you are NOT average
You’re putting in the extra effort to build a better future for yourself…
How good your future is depends on how hard you work in the present (today) and how much you actually believe in yourself, step outside your comfort zone and actually do what the ‘average’ person would not do
Internet marketers are not ‘average’ and the good ones are not even close to average…
Even the FTC wants to know the average results… guess what? The average results are no results!
A lot of people don’t even download the product they purchase… some even have the nerve to ask for a refund 10 minutes after they bought it, with some lame excuse why they want a refund – I’ve had it happen to me
Even a smaller percentage actually take action on any part of the product
Why?
Because it takes above average actions… a little bit more effort, a little bit of stepping outside your comfort zone ‘into the unknown’
I know of one particular marketer that starts going through a product and immediately takes action as soon as he find something that he wants to try… before going into the rest of the product
Guess What?
He’s way above average… and he’s now making over $40,000 a month after less than 2 years of experience online(marketing)
Does that sound like something you would want to do?
Then there should be no more I’ll do it later… I’m guilt too, but at least I’m making an effort to take avoid putting things off, I’m making an effort to step outside my comfort zone… I’m creating videos and I’m not a good speaker, I sound like I’m reading when I’m not, the lighting is off…
but guess what? Who cares as long as you do it – it will pay off!
Do me a favor and stop being ‘average’ it will kill your hopes and dreams
Please comment below telling me why you are not average and how you have already or plan to be better than average with your online business

Is It This Easy To Make Money Online?
I see a common problem online… people spend too much time on the ‘details’ but don’t spend enough time thinking about what they should really be asking themselves
In the video I tell you some of those questions you should be able to answer and if you have a good answer for each one everything should be a lot easier for you (be sure to take notes) – enjoy!

Social Media Marketing – A New Marketers Best Shot?
Hey Jeff Bode here and I have to admit, I really want to help new internet marketers make their first sales online…
The thing is it’s such an awesome feeling when you make your first sale online, I still get excited when I make some nice commissions – it’s like I just did this… and someone was willing to pay me for that?
This article is for you! because I think anyone has an honest shot at making money by simply adapting the ‘let me help you approach’
You see there are tons of ways to make money online, but many of them are not new marketer friendly!
That’s where social media is different…
Have you heard of Perry Belcher? …he made over a million dollars using social media and he did it all in less than 2 years, just by building upon his social media success (unfortunately, he has retired from social media marketing a short time ago to spend time with his family)
So here’s the deal, the ‘let me help you approach’ is basically just that…
you deliver quality content and information
then ask people to be your friends or many times you don’t even have to ask!
next you drop links to your blog or optin (squeeze) page where they can get more information about you… better yet, more information about the subject you are sharing on the social media site(s)
if your product or a product you recommend helps them cha-ching!
Be the cool kid at the party, add value and be interesting – people love it if you can pull it off!
So here are the best places to start…
Twitter – This should be your main source of making friends and being helpful because you can easily find a massive amount of interested people…
I like to automate the process of getting followers see this video Twitters Elite
Next, post helpful information on your blog and on youtube…
This gives them a better chance to get to know you and choose to do business with you!
Here’s a few example tweets you could send…
Video – check out this video about [your niche topic]
Blog Post: [your blog post title]
Or you can use the ‘cool thing you just found approach’…
I just found this cool video [link to your video]
Check out this cool blog post
That should give you plenty of ideas to get going also make sure you recommend other quality stuff in your niche that’s related!
Now, I could have stopped there, but…
I wanted to tell you about a new social media tool you need to start using ASAP!
It’s called Google Friend Connect -see that box on the right side of my blog?
That’s for Google Friend Connect, you should add it to your blog today (even if it’s a free blog)
Here’s why…
Google is slowly releasing invites to Google Wave which will combine a bunch of social media sites and will be the ‘hottest thing’ for many reasons… it even lets you post twitter tweets in a wave and post videos, text, pics…
It’s great! I’ve been playing around with it for a few weeks now!
Every Google Friend Connect friend you can get will be a contact on Google Wave, this means you will already have Google Wave friends when you join Google Wave + you have Gmail (Google Mail) contacts as Google Wave friends…
Google Wave lets you be more helpful so you have a HUGE chance at getting new customers!
That’s not all, Google is going to release the Google Chrome OS soon this will allow Google to have a powerful commanding lead in social media many people will start using the Google Chrome Operating System (it’s all online).
Your chance to get a head start on everyone else is with Google Friend Connect
Be sure to click the ‘join this site’ button (left side of my blog) so that we can be Google Friend Connect friends – Like you I want Google Friend Connect friends so I can share Google Waves with you (when you get your invite)
Thanks for reading!

A Traffic Trap To Avoid At All Cost
Is there anything in your online business you hate doing?
I was talking with a coaching client and I told him how I use to hate writing articles even though I know that it brings in quality traffic and can bring in traffic for years even after the article is written, plus it cost nothing but time (making it ideal for beginners).
This is why I hated writing articles, I was always told that you have to write lots of articles to get decent traffic to your site and to me that equals a huge time commitement with little noticable results.
In fact when I could convince myself that I need to write some articles, I would spend like 15 to 30 minutes writing a single article and after a few articles I would give up.
Can you blame me?
So I decided that the only way I was going to write articles again is if I can write them quickly and be able to get a decent amount of traffic to my site from each article – I’m working on that.
I like traffic methods that don’t take too much time, basically anything that can return results for very little effort. It’s not that I’m lazy…
Here’s a common problem I want you to watch out for
You see most people get stuck spending most of there time working on getting traffic to their site.
They say…
If I just had more traffic I would start selling more…
To make a long story short
They believe not having enough time to spend on getting traffic is what’s holding them back from succeeding online – don’t fall for that crap!
I did at first and it stopped me from getting real results!
The truth is many people spend too much time on getting traffic!
This is what happens…
The visitor comes to your site and isn’t interested due to a poor offer/conversion rate or worse doesn’t know what to do – tell them what to do!
Lately, I’ve been working on effectively funneling my traffic so that every visitor to my site has a higher chance of becoming a customer of mine as long as I offer something they need of higher value than the actual price.
The result is I don’t have to work nearly as hard to get the same or better results, from spending the same amount of time or less on getting traffic to my sites, now I have more time to focus on more important things!
So to put it simply what I told my coaching client is first set up a decent funnel system, here’s how you can start… ask yourself:
What is my most desired action of my web site visitor?
For instance I want them to join my email list and get to know me, learn how to make more money online by consuming the information and products I recommend and as a result improve their online income, then tell me the great results they’re getting!
After you have planned out and implemented what you want your visitors to do first, then you can start driving traffic to your site
Next you want to make sure you still having time to spend on increasing the results of your traffic funnel and providing value to your current and potential customers.
Lesson learned: using effective time management and focusing on all important aspects of your online business at ‘the right time’ can grow your pockets fatter with less headache!

Blogs The Best Social Media Traffic?
A lot of people for some reason don’t consider blogs to be social media, but last time I checked Wikipedia listed blogs in their definition of social media. The thing that most people get wrong is they don’t make their blog social media friendly. The result is you’re blog is more like a regular website than it is a blog.
Don’t get me wrong you can use wordpress or any blog cms (content management system) to turn it into a different type of site such as a sales page, opt in page, affiliate review site… but you should still have a blog that works like a normal blog.
If you are using any form of social media such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube where do you send your visitors? Or worse do you send them anywhere?
I send them to my blog and you should too. Most people on other social media sites are looking for interesting information and interaction. If they like your YouTube videos, twitter post… then they will be interested to see what other cool information you have and to interact with you more.
So the ideal place for them to go is your blog. You should want them to go to your blog – it should be your home base for interaction. You should link to it from the other social media sites that you are a part of.
Why should your blog be your social media home? Because you have more control over the content of your blog than any other form of social media. Therefore the visitor from the other social media sites can go to your site and then you can direct them to sign up for your list or buy a product from you.
So here’s what you do…
Go to Twitter post a tweet about one of your blog post, put a link in your twitter background about your blog so that whenever someone comes to your twitter profile page they can go to your blog to see more of your content and interact with you.
It’s hard to sell to social media traffic, you should always try to entertain them and build up trust with them and to do that a blog is a powerful tool, then when they are on your blog you transition them into signing up to your list or buying your product.
You can do the same thing with other social media sites including other blogs. You can post videos on YouTube or other video sites and put a link to your blog in your channel background, video descriptions and actual videos. Then tell them they can get more information about you at your blog.
YouTube is the 4th biggest site in the world, people go there to find information (to learn how to do something) and to be entertained. What you have to do is show them or teach them something and entertain them. Next tell them to get more from you head over to your blog.
Following this simple traffic funnel method you can get tons of visitors to your site, you just have to do it. Just make sure you make your blog social media friendly allow people to post comments easily. Then make sure you post some good content related to what you are selling or giving away. Finally make sure you make it easy for them to sign up for your list or buy your products. Then create a video related to that content and link to your blog, create some tweets about your blog post and do that over and over, soon you will be getting tons of traffic to your blog. Just do it once you have the blog post the rest is easy.
Remember there’s massive free traffic from these sites and if you do it correctly you can get a massive amount of new visitors onto your blog and into your business take advantage of it!
I'm eager to hear your comments...
